My desire, along with Laura’s husband Cody Payne, and our family and many friends who have helped make this possible it to honor Laura’s life of faith. She fought stage 4 sinonasal neuroendochrine carcinoma for five hard years before passing into the presence of The Master, who is known as Jesus, on June 10th, 2020.

Laura’s testimony as she lived with cancer touched thousands of lives. This is a book project called It Takes Faith to Walk on These Waters – The Laura Payne Story. It will also include an EP of songs written and recorded by me, her dad, along with the only recording we have of Laura singing a song she wrote called I Will Follow. The song is her testimony.

Laura was born Laura Kidd in Angola, Indiana and lived in Northeast Indiana most of her life, before marrying Cody Payne and moving to East Tennessee in 2016. She was diagnosed with Cancer in 2015. At the very beginning she chose to not go the traditional route of treating cancer. Her journey of home treatments, naturopaths, osteopaths, and extended stays in Tijuana, Mexico at Chipsa Hospital was marked by her consistent positive attitude and confidence in her Heavenly Father, YHWH and His Son, Jesus, or Yahshua if you will. Those of you who knew her personally or followed her journey on Facebook saw and heard Laura’s testimony through her life lived in the wide open.

The book is in final edit stage as the audio book is being recorded. The record of songs is nearly recorded. If you have questions you may contact bfkidd@kiddproductiongroup.com.
